I work with cut layered paper and explore the ways a two-dimensional medium can be rendered in three dimensions. Shadow is an essential but intangible medium in this work. Without it the work would fall flat, literally and figuratively. It is my hope that this work invites exploration beyond the curves and crevices into the shadowy recesses of these little worlds.
