I am a Victoria based contemporary artist. My art is at the forefront of my daily life, if I am not painting I am thinking about painting. The amazing overgrown gardens where I live are my inspiration, I walk every morning taking hundreds of photos before I head into my studio.

For the last 13 years I have committed to painting, rarely missing a day in my studio. I am mostly self taught, but through the years I have also taken workshops with several artists. After so many years of dedication I have become my own teacher. Learning and experimenting daily, whether I am in my studio painting or working out playing with colour and composition in my head, these things have been pivotal for my growth as an artist.

Colour is always the main attraction in my work, pink is a front runner which I think of as a neutral, florals are my subject. My brush strokes are loose and not perfect ever. This is how I want people to see my work, nothing perfect or organized, just something that brings you in and makes you want to stay for awhile.
