Statement:
My focus is creating functional pottery that feels good to touch and is easily handled, but robust enough to withstand being chucked into the sink after a dinner party. I am drawn to softer shapes, most often curved and rounded forms. Most of my work is thrown on the wheel and sometimes altered, but retains an easy aesthetic. I generally work within a quiet and neutral colour range, and sometimes incorporate loose patterns or textures that reflect nature.
