Bio:

Like many before him, Ron began his art journey by becoming an incessant doodler in grade school, much to the consternation of his parents and teachers. After graduation from the fine arts program in his high school he proceeded to paint motorcycle gasoline tanks and electric guitars which were the fashion of the day. Night school classes included printmaking, sign painting, figure studies and all manner of drawing and painting classes.

With children on the way he became a full-time graphic artist but continued to pursue his passion for creating paintings in gouache and acrylics as well as constructing whimsical 3-dimensional pieces. He now practices art full-time and can be found in his studio several days per week

Artist Statement:

I like to create synchronous relationships between shapes. I find a certain amount of emotional satisfaction when I feel that these elements are in harmony on the canvas.
