Artist Statement/BIO:

Hoda is an illustrator based in Vancouver. She began her studies in graphic design but soon discovered a deep passion for illustration. Following that path, she earned her master’s degree in illustration.

Her work focuses on telling stories through depictions of diverse cultures and people. She enjoys illustrating narratives that highlight human emotions, personal belongings, and everyday lifestyles.

Hoda began her career in children’s book illustration and has collaborated with several publishing houses. She believes that everyone has a story to tell, and since stories are a part of who we are from birth, life becomes more meaningful when those stories are brought to life through art.
